There was a time when I walked alone

Though I’d many friends, I wasn’t being me.

Enslaved by their opinions, it felt like judgement to me.

Then I found the greatest love that set my spirit free!

Thank you for your love, thank you for your peace,

Thank you for your guidance and eternal patience here with me.

But most of all, dear Father, when I think on my many blessings,

I am thankful in your forgiving me!
