For these battles have been hard and never seem to end

I’m feeling so betrayed--what is your plan for me?

Dear Lord I feel so angry, where is your justice?

How can I hold hope in a world that rewards sin?

Dear Soldier of the Light, I know you’re weary

For the battles will be many when you follow me

Dear child of my heart, I know your confused

For the enemy deceives you and distracts you from My Truth

Dear holder of My Truth, I see you struck down

Just as I was struck down on the way to Calvary

Dear Soldier of the Light, you cry for justice

Many battles will be lost, but the war is surely won!

And if you look only toward Me I will show The Way

Move always with Me and I will not abandon you

And if you rest only in Me I will strengthen and comfort you

And when you live your life in this way I will deliver you!
