Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Where there is hatred, let me sow love

Where there is injury, help me to pardon

Where there is doubt, grant me the faith that I need

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Where there is despair, help me find hope

Where there is darkness, shine your divine light

Where there is sadness, bring forth the joy of your love!

O, Divine Master,

grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled, understood, or loved...

but to comfort others, and seek to understand.

Help me love and care for your creation.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace

For it’s in giving that we receive

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned

And it’s in dying that we are born to eternal life!

And it’s in dying that we are born to eternal life!

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace...
