Come Drum With Us!
We are excited to announce that the Body Mind Spirit Center has invited us to facilitate a free wellness drum circle at their facility in southwest Fort Worth.
The Body Mind Spirit Center is located at 5521 Bellaire Drive South, Suite 114, Fort Worth, Texas 76132. That's just off Bryant Irvin between Interstate 20/ Southwest Blvd/183 and the Lockheed Recreational Center, if you're familiar with the area.
We'll be meeting the second Friday of every month, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. If you have a drum or percussion instrument, bring it, but we'll have extras on hand for anyone who doesn't.
A community drum circle provides a
recreational music-making experience that is open and accessible to everyone. A
wellness circle celebrates the relaxation and health benefits of drumming with
others. People who have never participated in group drumming
are especially encouraged to come--you will never forget this experience!
